News website Express.de said it has learned from investigators that Lubitz, 27, surfed on the Internet for diuretic drugs before his murder-suicide at the controls of a Germanwings jetliner on March 24.
Diuretics increase the need to urinate. Lubitz needed his skipper Patrick Sondenheimer to leave the cockpit in order for him to activate the automatic descent mechanism of the Airbus 320 which would lead it, and all 150 people on board, to their death
