time.com - Kanye West has settled the civil lawsuit filed by Daniel Ramos, the videographer he allegedly attacked outside Los Angeles International Airport on July 19, 2013.
It’s unclear whether Ramos received any money in the settlement, but one of the terms was for West to personally apologize to him, the videographer’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, tells PEOPLE in a statement. The two were photographed shaking hands afterwards, with West flashing a rare smile.
“This case was set for trial next week on April 14, 2015,” Allred says.
