Two North Korean diplomats have been arrested in Pakistan for illegally selling beer and whisky at marked up prices, in the latest money making scheme by servants of the Pyongyang regime.
The married couple, identified in local reports only by the name Chong, were arrested for selling whisky and beer on the street in the upscale Defence Housing Authority, an upmarket suburb in Karachi. In Pakistan, it is illegal publicly to sell alcohol.
According to Voice of America, the Chongs bought the drinks duty free, taking advantage of their diplomatic privileges, and sold it at a large margin of profit.
