Other services like mutual fund investments routed through certified agents will also become costlier as these services have been brought under tax net.
"The impact of exemption rationalisation and changes in abatement that are part of orders already notified take effect on the date mentioned in the notification itself," said Divakar Vijayasarathy, a chartered accountant and CEO of MeetUrPro, an online portal for financial services.
